Where to Workout in Red Deer
We are getting to the end of the list for workout facilities in Red Deer. We’ve been visiting places throughout the city for over two years now! Crazy. Today, Jessica is taking over the post to talk about Curves Red Deer. She actually used to work at Curves back in the day, so she’s the expert at this one.
Curves is an only women’s facility that delivers a total body workout in just 30 minutes – this includes strength training, cardio, and stretching. A membership to Curves includes access to the Total Body Circuit, a professional coach, specialty fitness classes, CurvesSmart technology (to provide moment-to-moment feedback) and much more!
If you’re looking for nutrition information, there is a program called Curves Complete that includes the Curves Fitness program, customizable meal plans, and one-on-one coaching and support.
There is a change room available with showers as well.
About the Circuit
Walk in and jump on any machine in the circuit – super simple! The machines are hydraulic and during your 30 minutes, you’ll hit every major muscle group with strength training, cardio, and stretching.
They also offer other fitness classes:
- Cardio (higher intensity)
- Boxing (higher intensity)
- Body Basics (lower intensity)
- Balance (lower intensity)
Friday: 6am – 4:30pm
Saturday: 9am – 12:30pm
Sunday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
What I Loved Most
I like that it’s a safe and supportive environment for ALL women and ALL fitness levels. There’s no reason to be intimidated here! The staff were welcoming and encouraging. The quick workout is perfect for those with a busy lifestyle or for those that prefer a more structured routine – especially if they are unfamiliar with traditional gym equipment. The staff also love bragging about their members and their success stories and if that doesn’t give your heart a boost, I don’t know what will!
