Where to Workout in Red Deer: Rob’s Gym

Rob’s Gym is probably the most BA, little-known gym nestled off Gaetz on Red Deer’s north end. If you’re in need of a place to just plug in and do work without distraction, this is your place. Jess and I loved working out here, even though we went for a heavy lift session that left me sore for daysssss.

About Rob’s Gym Red Deer

Rob’s Gym is a small, locally owned independent gym on Red Deer’s north end that includes a supplement shop and tanning beds for all of your fitness needs. Rob is a committed member of our community and has been in the fitness business for years between personal training and his supplement/tanning business. He opened Rob’s Gym as a place where people can come to work out without the noise of big box gyms. This is a place you can come to plug in and do your work without judgment. It doesn’t matter what your goals are, what you’re wearing, what you look like.

The main gym floor has all of the equipment you could need for weightlifting, from free weights and squat racks and more. On a nice day, the back garage doors are open to let the fresh air in and make you feel like you’re working out in your garage. Upstairs you’ll find a small selection of cardio equipment as well as the tanning rooms.

Rob’s Gym is a 24-hour gym, with key fob access for members which makes it a great option for the night owls or shift workers.

What I Loved Most

The obvious thing I loved about this gym is the graffiti walls that add a totally badass vibe to an already badass gym. I love even more that this gym exists for people who just want to put in the work. It’s a place where you can come to plug into your music and do your thing without fear of being judged. To me, I prefer a gritty gym like this over a big, shiny new gym full of bros.

You know, I don’t think they told us what the drop in fee was. I am sure Rob would be happy to give you a tour and trial though. Give them a shout and see 🙂
