Battle of the Boxing Circuit Workouts
As you can see, we’ve taken a bit of a workout review hiatus, so I thought it would be a good time to compare some of the places we’ve already been. When 9Round first opened and we checked it out as part of the Where to Workout series, I had a lot of people confusing it with 30 Minute Hit and vise versa. Both are boxing or kickboxing-inspired circuit workouts and both are awesome.
For anyone interested in trying out one of these workouts, here’s a side by side comparison to show you some of the similarities and differences between the two.
I loved my experiences at both places. The workouts are very similar, having the same circuit style format and length. The major differences come from the overall vibe of the facility and whether or not you’re looking for something kid friendly and women only. Both workouts are great for the busy individual who needs a quick and effective workout that can be done at almost any time, without waiting for a specific class time. You will receive individual attention and modification based on your experience to help you reach your fit goals, have an absolute blast and feel like a total badass in the process.
Personally, it’s hard to choose one over the other. I absolutely loved the girl power vibe from 30 Minute Hit and having my son be able to watch me kicking butt in the name of health. But I also loved feeling like a Brooklyn badass at 9Round and getting to ring that bell at the end of my workout.
