Sunday Runday #71

May 28, 2017

This week wasn’t great in terms of Seawheeze training. I was pretty sore after Sunday’s race and then an afternoon at the zoo, so I took a rest day Monday instead of my easy run. Intervals were on the agenda for Wednesday, but we had what was the prairie equivalent of a hurricane so there’s no way I was running outside. You win some, you lose some.

I didn’t miss out on my long run though. Thanks to Cassandra for letting Liam hang out and Jessica for joining me for my scheduled 10km. It was a beautiful morning in the city and I was feeling all the gratitude for having such supportive people to help me on my journey to my first half and all the gratitude for getting to run in such beautiful spaces in my city.

From Mary:

Our Sunday Runday took us to Mount Royal! It was a hot quick one-but we got to enjoy some pretty incredible views.

From Shannon:

Ran the 10km loop at Crimson Lake this morning!

From Ange

Congrats to everyone who completed various distances at the Calgary Marathon today!

Did you get out to run today?

If you’re new to Sunday Runday, it’s a weekly running date for anyone and everyone to join. It doesn’t matter the distance, the time if you’re brand new or a seasoned marathoner, heck you don’t even need to run. Walk, jog, run, spin, lift, bend, move. The point is just to have fun and motivate each other to get on our feet. Get out there snap a pic, and send me your mini recap to becky at thebexfactor dot com before 7pm MST every single Sunday to be featured in this post. Or, post to social media and share the link below. If you’re a fellow blogger, grab the banner and join the link-up with your favourite run chat from the week!

It’ll be a Saturday run day for me next weekend since I probably won’t be able to move on Sunday! 😉
