If you’re new to Sunday Runday, it’s a weekly running date for anyone and everyone to join. It doesn’t matter the distance, the time, if you’re brand new or a seasoned marathoner, heck you don’t even need to run. Walk, jog, run, spin, lift, bend, move. The point is just to have fun and motivate each other to get on our feet. Get out there snap a pic, and send me your mini recap to becky at thebexfactor dot com before 7pm MST every single Sunday to be featured in this post. Or, post to social media and share the link below. If you’re a fellow blogger, grab the banner and join the link-up with your favourite run chat from the week!
It was a beautiful morning to hit the trails, unfortunately, I’ve been battling some foot pain since running the Calgary Marathon 10k so our run turned into a walk instead. It still allowed to me and Mary have a great chat, soaking up the sunshine and luscious views. There were tons of people out enjoying the morning alongside the wildlife. We really are so lucky to enjoy mornings like this.
Lucky Number 3 gave me a pretty amazing surprise – a new PR of 2:13:30 ✨☀️🌴 I didn’t even know if I was going to be able to finish this race. It was hot, humid, hilly, and my knee was ANGRY. But somewhere around the halfway point, my angels kicked it into high gear and helped me cut a minute and a half off my previous PR. I cried for about 10 minutes after I finished. San Diego loves me after all. 💕 The @runrocknroll staff, volunteers and course support were second to none. Thank you to @sloluckyruns for keeping me company during the first 11k, you made the race fly by 😘 #RnRSD #epicsummerrun #adventuretoanywhere #sandiego
