Being prepared when you’re working out away from home is essential, especially for someone like me who is squeezing a workout in on a break from work or with a toddler in tow.
Here are some of my gym bag essentials:
– Extra socks
– Hair brush and dry shampoo
– Makeup bag for back to work touchups
– Snacks – to curb workout hanger for both me and the toddler
– Baby wipes – multipurpose for both me and the toddler
– Running watch
– A shaker cup for a prework drink or a post workout shake.
– Good deodorant
My go-to for deodorant these days has been the Lemon & Coriander Deodorant Spray from Neal’s Yard Remedies. It contains eight essential oils to keep you fresh and has a cooling effect that is a perfect aid in cooling down after a hot and sweaty run outside. I love that this product is free from preservatives and aluminum but still provides the much-needed benefit of a good deodorant.
Neal’s Yard Remedies has just celebrated its first birthday in the Mission District in Calgary. They offer a full range of skincare, cosmetics, hair, men’s products, bath & body, mom & baby, aromatherapy and gifts as well as a selection of loose herbs. All of their products contain high quality, natural, organic ingredients to give your hair, face, and body the best care and attention. If you’re in the market for some high-quality, award-winning natural personal care products, I recommend giving Neal’s Yard Remedies a browse online. Or, if you’re strolling down 4th Street in Calgary, stop in for a visit. Coming from one sweaty girl, I know that their products, deodorant especially, are top notch.
