The weather this week has been nothing but sunshine and near double digits (on the plus side, not the minus!). Birds are chirping, snow is melting and we don’t have to bundle up to go out anymore. The last few weeks have seemed a little rough with the constant toddler cold and daylight savings has been making the usual 7pm bed time a struggle. To cope we’ve been spending our evenings outside and it’s been glorious. On Tuesday we took Liam’s strider bike out for the first time. Since it was a birthday gift (his birthday is in October), Liam’s only been riding it around the condo. He had no second thoughts about riding straight into the deepest puddles he could find. We spent an hour riding back and forth down the alley behind our building, getting our feet completely soaked.
Yesterday Liam wanted to go to the park so we headed to our favourite park to play. Liam was so excited to be back there again, even though the ground is still mostly covered in snow due to the trees surrounding the park. I’m so excited to finally be able to get out of the house and enjoy the city.
