Sensory Play

Safari Sensory Bin

Safari Sensory Bin

I had high hopes of creating a St. Patrick’s Day themed sensory bin for Liam this month, but I had zero luck finding good materials that fit the theme. Instead I kept it simple, with a safari theme using a Target liquidation purchase.

These little kits come in various different themes are were about $6 on sale. Liam loves playing with the little animals in the beans, especially burying them all in the beans. I just wish I would have some trees to go with it. However, this bin was still a win and just goes to show that sensory bins don’t need a lot of different materials to be great.

This is so great. I can’t wait to make some for D when she is a bit bigger. I need to check out Target soon…

Haha, if Liam throws beans or anything, the beans are closed and he’s not allowed to play with them anymore. He’s learned how to play with them properly from the day home. I’m sure if it wasn’t for that, he’d not play so well with them at home.
