Seemed like this week flew by for me, but maybe it’s because I took today off. I’m excited for a fun weekend coming up, spending time with some of my blog friends turned real friends, with our kids. Of course there’s the race too, which I’m not looking forward to as much. I definitely wish I could have fit in a couple more runs this week, but it just didn’t work out.
I ran the Spartan Sprint, 5k with 16 obstacles and finished in 1:11.
I was pretty sore from the previous day’s race, so I did Yoga For Sore Bodies via Reflexion Yoga. I definitely felt a bit better afterwards, but still a bit tight yet in the upper body from all the damn burpees.
I was suppose to attend a Booty Barre with a coworker, but ended up being a different coworkers birthday so we went for a team lunch instead. I ended up getting busy after Liam went down and ran out of time to fit anything in. Oops.
Yoga for Runners via Reflexion Yoga, even though I was exhausted from being out of town for work all day and coming home to a toddler who seemed to have needed a longer nap this afternoon…
Yoga for Runners via Reflexion Yoga, again. I mean, if I’m not prepared for this race distance wise, I might as well make sure my hammier aren’t tight, right?
Off – I will be carb loading and consuming wine with the girls in preparation for tomorrow’s race!
