I always find it interesting to read what other people’s days look like so I thought I would share what a typical day looks like for me!
6:00am – alarm goes off. hit snooze twice.
6:25 – finally get out of bed. Put a load of laundry in the drier. Start getting myself ready
6:45 – a couple last minute changed to a blog post before publishing.
6:50 – pack lunch, get breakfast ready. Oatmeal for myself, fruit and yogurt for Liam
7:00 – wake Liam up
7:10 – sit down for breakfast
7:25 – clean up breakfast, change Liam’s diaper and get him dressed. Attempt at taking an outfit photo of Liam, but fail horribly.
7:35 – Liam is already trying to put his shoes on.
7:40 – We are out the door, a bit earlier than usual. Liam saw the umbrella stroller in the laundry room and wanted a ride.
7:45 – We are on our way to the day home.
7:55 – Arrive at day home, five minutes early. We go for a little walk down the block
8:00 – Drop Liam off, spend a few minutes chatting with day home provider while giving Liam some last minute snuggles before saying goodbye.
8:10 – Leave day home, on the way to work
8:25 – Arrive at work, get much needed coffee!
8:30-4:30 – Work work work. I worked through lunch in order to meet a friend for lunch tomorrow.
4:30 – drive back to day home
4:45 – arrive at day home, Liam is trying to catch one of the backyard chickens
5:00 – Leave for home
5:10 – Get home, check the mail to find I got a package! A yummy product I’m excited to try out and share with you guys.
5:25 – Start making supper. We are having salmon, potatoes and green beans. Liam wants a snack and chooses an apple.
5:55 – Sit down to eat
6:15 – Finish supper. Off to read some stories
6:35 – Liam gets into the tub
6:55 – Lights out for the little man
7:00 – Phone call from the bestie. We spend some time catching up on the last couple days.
7:35 – finish a quick yoga video via Reflexion Yoga
8:00 – start working on a new blog post
9:00 – power off the laptop and hop in the shower
9:15 – grab a cup of tea and crawl into bed to read. Currently reading the toddler version of the Baby Whisperer.
10:00 – lights out, ready to do it all over again tomorrow.
It’s not a very exciting time during the week but that’s our typical routine.
