Sunday Morning Coffee

May 4, 2014

You guys seemed to really like last week’s coffee date so I thought we could have another one today!

If we were having coffee I would probably be wearing something warm and comfy given the fact that it’s snowing again. I’m finding it super depressing that we’ve had eight consecutive months of snow with only little teasers of warmth and sunshine. Like most Albertans, I’m ready to pack up and move somewhere warm.

If we were having coffee this morning I would tell you that the only pressing that I need to do today is get groceries and meal prep. My nutrition has been lacking greatly the past week or two and I need to get myself back on track. I always go through ups and downs in terms of exercise and nutrition and last week was a major down. With limited free time outside of work and parenting, I sometimes have to choose between working out and socializing. Last week was a big week for socializing, having various lunch dates, including meeting up with Lindsey and baby Avery and then Amie yesterday.

If we were having coffee I would tell you my frustration with security issues with WordPress. My blog has been hacked and I have a lot of work to do to get it cleaned up. I already feel behind with posting and I have a bunch of product reviews coming up. It was a good week for mail last week!

If we were having coffee I might tell you that I’ve been struggling with Liam and his temper/whining lately. I hope we can figure out how to better deal with it soon because it’s definitely frustrating. Even more frustrating since he doesn’t seem to act that way at the day home. That lady has a magic touch!

If we were having coffee I would tell you that I started watching Suits after a few recommendations but I have to be honest, I’m not loving it. Any other good must-watch shows?

What would you tell me if we were having coffee this morning?

Ugh, your blog was hacked?! That’s horrible! What did said hackers do??

I am not looking forward to the temper tantrum stage, haha, but who is? I think most kids behave better when they are with other people that aren’t their parents. Even my dog behaves better at the kennel then he does with us!

I haven’t watched Suits, but we just finished both seasons of House of Cards which I really liked! (And I don’t like politics – go figure!). Orange is the New Black was awesome as is Downton Abbey, and I’m half way through season 1 of Friday Night Lights which is really growing on me. My queue of TV shows to watch on Netflix is out of control!

My blog has crashed a couple times now. They have imbedded files that are taking up a ton of space. At one point it was sending out email spam. Ugh. I’ve had so many problems lately from it!

I have heard good things about Friday Night Lights. I may have to check that out.
