Happy hump day! How’s everyone’s week so far? Mine has been busy and going by quick which is nice (watch the rest of the week drag for saying that). I’ve had a busy couple days at work and I’ve begun my nightly dates with Shaun T. doing Focus T25 so time really is just flying. But I’m feeling really great and happy that I’ve got my butt in gear again.
Another thing that is making me feel good lately is all the reorganizing I’ve been doing at home. I’m trying to declutter and freshen up my space. I already mentioned that I cleaned and reorganized my pantry. I’m seriously in love with the pantry and don’t know how I ever lived without one. I used to think they were no big deal, that’s what cupboards are for. Wrong. So wrong. I love having (mostly) everything visible in glass canisters and not having piles of boxes and bags cluttering the shelves.
Last weekend I cleaned out and reorganized my closets. I still have some clothes to try and sell and more to donate. I have my eye on a bathroom declutter in the future but another area I wanted to focus on was my wall space. I hung the canvas prints I bought last year in Montreal FINALLY.
Sorry for the crappy picture quality. The crooked ones on the right are new. Hopefully my dad will come help me straighten them out since he’s the expert!
The next thing I want to do in terms of pictures is change out the montage of music stuff in my dining room and build a gallery wall there instead.
I must be growing up when I don’t want my signed posters and concert ticket stubs being the main focus in my home!! I still want them up, but I want to move them to the hallway where most of my photos are hung currently. Since it’s a small hallway, the stuff hung there doesn’t get seen as much so I’d like to showcase my photos more than my music stuff.
The only problem with rearranging all of this all the holes in the walls, but hopefully I can make things work with the existing holes so it doesn’t look too terrible.
My mom had printed some family photos from our session last summer for me for Christmas that I’m excited to frame and hang. The other thing I am really excited about is the framed print I just received from Easy Canvas Prints. I was really excited when they contacted me to have a canvas made as I had been hoping to have a certain photo from Liam’s newborn shoot made into a canvas for some time now.
The process was so easy, just upload your photo and choose from a few options such as canvas size, wrap thickness, border styles, border, display options, color finishing and photo retouching services. Just a few quick clicks and it was off to checkout. I received the print yesterday and am so happy with the quality! It’s beautiful. I almost wish I would have thought to chip in a little money for a bigger one. My only complaint is that they attached the wall hanger on the wrong side (so it would be oriented vertically instead of horizontally). I can’t wait to get my gallery wall together and show off my beautiful baby bum, haha!
If you’re interested in having any canvas prints made, I think Easy Canvas Prints is a great site to order from and I will be keeping them in mind for future use. You can find some coupon codes to use on your orders here.
Tell me, what is your favourite thing hanging on your wall right now and why?
Disclaimer: Easy Canvas Prints sent me a free 8×10 canvas print minus cost of shipping in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
