…a $25 gift card for Muse plus a gift card for a dozen custom cupcakes from the best in town, Cuppitycakes Bakeshop.

If you’ve been a reader for awhile you know that I order cupcakes from Cuppitycakes for all my special occasions and thhey are hands down the most amazing cupcakes EVER. Muse, well, it’s a dangerous store for me considering they have so many original things and it’s located across the street from my office. If you still need a holiday dress, you should probably check out Muse.

To enter, leave a comment telling me what holiday parties you have planned for the season. For extra entries, follow Muse on Facebook and Twitter or follow Cuppitycakes on Facebook and Twitter and leave extra entries telling me you did so. This giveaway is open to anyone in the Red Deer area and will close on Wednesday, December 11. Good luck!

Shall we recap the weekend?

I found my perfect house in my perfect neighbourhood Friday afternoon.

00b81b5c-113a-40c6-ba7c-f3c218f9ca05Β It was a productive day at the office πŸ˜‰

After work my parents were in town and they brought in sushi for dinner for us while they visited Liam. My dad had picked up a parcel for me and I was excited to see that it was my Canadian Blog Swap gift! Thank you so much Nicole, I love it!

My mom has the same ornaments on her tree which makes it extra special! Plus, treats!

Saturday morning we had plans to meet up with my parents for breakfast but because it was so cold they decided to bring breakfast to Liam and I. We cooked up some sausages, eggs and waffles before heading over to Cassandra’s to celebrate Oliver’s first birthday!

Liam totally needed a nap at the party but he didn’t want to miss out on any fun so he screamed when I tried to put him for a nap. I was worried he would have a meltdown after the party because we were going to take him to meet Santa at the mall! Fortunately he did just fine and probably being tired was a good thing.

After Santa my parents headed home and I attempted to put Liam for a nap when we were home. It wasn’t happening, poor kid was so over tired. He ended up going to sleep at 6!

I was worried with Liam going to bed so early that he would be up just as early but he actually slept until 8am! Needless to say he was super goofy in the morning while we waited for his dad to pick him up.

I Β headed out to brunch at Heritage Ranch which was delicious as always. After brunch I ran a few errands and grocery shopped before coming home to do some meal prep. I am going back to my chicken, rice and steamed veggies multiple times a day plan so I can get myself back into a clean eating routine. I have still been eating like I’m training and it’s almost been two months since I’ve been at Crossfit so I can’t keep eating that way anymore!

Luckily Melea was going to work out later in the afternoon so she told me to meet her at the gym! I feel like Melea’s warmup was good enough for me but I kept going and did some more stuff with her before calling it quits. I had dinner plans at a new place in town!

All in all it was a busy but fun weekend and I’m not ready for another week of work!

What was the highlight of your weekend?Β

My exchange student is from Mexico, and his family is coming to AB for 11 days during Christmas break πŸ™‚ So my boyfriend, son and I are hosting our family Christmas dinner for about 30 people! As well, we will be taking his family to ZooLights in Calgary (our family tradition) and for a sleigh ride at Heritage Ranch πŸ™‚

The highlights of my weekend was seeing all my friends at the kids party. I’ve never even been in Muse. I’m sure they will get a portion of my bank account when I go.
I love cuppity cakes cupcakes especially since they accomodate the dietary needs of our family.
