I know you guys want to hear more about Liam’s birthday week and what I have planned for his birthday party and just exactly how I feel about having a one year old. We are just taking a break from that to chat about some workouts but you can rest assured there will be birthday party talk next week.
Now lets talk about some workouts shall we?
Power Clean – 75% 4×5 – 65#
– 6 Deadlifts at 65% – 125ish I think
– 30 DUs (x3 skips)
This was a super fun and easy WOD, I finished in 3:54
Deadlift – 85% 5×3 – 155# Can I just say how awesome it felt to hit this weight (around my current bodyweight) as my 1RM and now I’m doing this weight for reps. Whaaaaat! Can you say #ladybeast!
– 3 Deadlifts
– 3 Power cleans
– 3 Push jerks
*use 75% of Power clean – for me this was 65#.
This was also a quick and easy WOD. The deadlifts were nothing, power cleans were doable and the push jerks were a bit tougher but I finished in 2:34. Now if only I could do short and sweet WODs with good weight like that everyday, I’d look like Maria Kang in no time.
We finished this WOD off with Tabata Hollow Rocks. Holy moly those were tough, I feel like I should do them every day and maybe this little belly of mine would disappear.
Also, how great are these socks?
