Yahoo, it’s already Friday! This work week just flew by for me (I only worked two days). It was a good way to ease back into work. With the craziness of the week, I only made it to Crossfit twice but I’m hoping to start going on my lunch breaks a few times a week. I’m not sure how well it will work only having an hour to change, drive and workout, but I would really like to make it to the gym more than Tuesdays and Thursdays and that’s really my only option.
Front Squat – 75% 4×5 – I used 85# and it felt REALLY heavy. I haven’t done front squat for what seems like forever.
– 100m run
– 25 Wallballs
This WOD sucked. I was so tired I don’t even know what I was even doing at the gym. Running and wallballs combined are my arch nemesis. Half way through I hit a wall and just wanted to cry because I was so tired and I was struggling to keep going. I finished in 9:36 which was still a decent time considering. Brutal.
I was one hurting unit on Wednesday.
Power Clean – 85% 5×3 – I used 75# and damn was it heavy.
AMRAP in 8 minutes:
– 3 Power cleans at 75% – 65#
– 6 Dips
Those cleans, ugh. I was still tight from Tuesday so these felt super rough. I did bench dips since I haven’t done dips in a million years. I finished 11 rounds.
