I’m getting very excited that tomorrow is April because that means next month the farmer’s market begins! During the summer, our clan hits the farmer’s market every Saturday instead of doing Sunday brunch. Good thing I only have a couple more places to review for you guys!

Last weekend we went to Remington’s which is located in the Black Knight Inn. We had a group of 12 so of course I called ahead and made reservations. It’s always recommended for there because it’s usually a bit of a wait. I like going when we have a larger group because they put big groups in one of their Salon’s. There’s more space but you have to go down the hall to the main restaurant to load your plate. One time they set up another buffet right in the salon so it was like we had our own personal buffet! Loved that!

The food is always really good and lots of selections. My favorite is when they have mini perogies and jello. This kid seriously loves jello! They have an omelete station but sadly no waffle or crepe station here. They do have pancakes and waffles that you can load with syrup, berry sauce or whipped cream. Cassandra’s step daughter came back with what looked like a plate full of whipped cream on top of her waffle.

I’m a pretty big fan of their desserts here, especially the cheesecake! Often there isn’t much on the dessert table that is super amazing to me at buffets (but I still end up with a plate full, regardless). Last week they even had a chocolate fountain! They must have read last week’s review about how much I like Botanica and that they’re the only buffet with a chocolate fountain.

The price is just under $20, which is siding on the cheaper end of the buffet range, but that price does not include coffee. Seriously, I think if a buffet includes juice, it should include coffee. But that’s just me.

All in all, Remington’s is a great brunch spot and one we often repeat going to. I give it 4 giant dollops of whipped cream out of 5.

What’s your favorite dessert?
