What I Ate Wednesday

Before getting pregnant I was on a pretty strict meal plan to coincide with my fitness goals. Pregnancy quickly put an end to that with my aversion to most of the regular things I ate. In my post partum days I’m trying to get back into healthy eats again and cutting out some of the junk that I got used to eating. Here’s a sample of what I eat in a day.

Breakfast: oatmeal with frozen bananas and strawberries, cottage cheese, cinnamon and a bit of maple syrup.

Looks like a big bowl of something unappetizing but I swear it’s good!

Morning snack: Greek yogurt and banana

I like this Liberte brand but still really wish Chobani was available here!

Lunch: toasted sandwich with bison bacon, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cheese, mustard and mayo with a side of extra cucumber slices.

Afternoon snack: sugar snap peas and hummus

And also one of these muffins. I’ve become a bit of a muffin addict these days.

Dinner: chicken breast and frozen veggies

Liam has been one angry bear this evening so I hardly had time to put dinner together which is why it’s plain Jane.

I’m still hungry so if I ever get him settled and in bed I may have a bowl of mini wheats. I guess I haven’t kicked the cereal addiction from pregnancy yet.

My daily eats aren’t very exciting but it’s difficult to get fancy with a baby right now.

    the important thing is that you are still making time to eat! some woman just dont and they get sick and all that. proud of you! things will get easier… one day 😛
