Yup, it’s fall, which means pumpkin everything is out! I’m embracing it fully because like everyone else, I love pumpkin.
I already told you about my love for the pumpkin candles from Bath and Body Works. I’ve also been indulging in a couple pumpkin drinks from Starbucks as well. Depending on the day, it could be the Pumpkin Spice Latte or maybe a Pumpkin Frappachino. I’ve also been adding pumps of chocolate into my pumpkin beverages. Let me tell you, it brings the pumpkin to a whole new level. You’ve got to try it.
This morning I opened a can of pumpkin leftover from last year and made pumpkin pancakes using this recipe. They didn’t hold together as well as the banana ones, but with a bit of pure maple syrup on top, the taste was still there. I’m on the hunt for a better pumpkin pancake recipe if anyone knows a good one?
On Tuesday while doing maternity photos with Cassandra, we stopped at the Little Ice Cream and Soda Shop as I had a vision for a photo there. Of course that vision involved actually eating ice cream and I was so excited to see pumpkin flavored ice cream!! Oh man, it was amazing. I definitely need to go for another pumpkin cone before the shop closes.
As I type this I’m eating a nut mix I found at Costco containing pumpkin seeds. Yum! I hope I get to carve a pumpkin this year and can toast my own pumpkin seeds. So tasty!
