What can I say this week? I’m tired, that’s the biggest thing. I don’t know how I drag my ass out of bed every morning to go to work, the gym, etc. I’m starting to feel like a zombie. I know, I know, it’s not going to go away any time soon. One can hope though, right?
I ordered myself
a new gym bag diaper bag. Ok, so it’s from Lululemon, but I really like their bags. They’re super durable, lots of pockets and they don’t look lame. I haven’t decided if I will transfer my old gym bag to be the diaper bag, or use the new one as a diaper bag, but either way I’m pretty excited. There’s still lots of things I need before the baby comes. Like the crib, which I still don’t know where it’s coming from or if it’s going to be one I like (aka matches the rest of the furniture color). Then there’s the crib bedding and bumper pads. Why the heck is crib bedding so damn expensive?? I also need nursing things, bras, tanks, pump, bottles, etc. And I need to look for a good baby book. The Fitnessista ordered one for Oliva that I’ve been toying with getting as well, even though it’s fairly pricey. But I want a good one, with pockets for keepsakes and spots to write things, not just a baby photo album. Anyone know where to get a good one?
I’m getting anxious to be done work. It’s been super slow for me which isn’t very much fun, especially when all I want to do is nap. I also want to be done so I can spend time cleaning and organizing. I guess this means the nesting phase has officially struck?
How far along? 35 weeks.
How big is baby? A small honeydew melon
Weight gain? 32 pounds as of last week. Won’t know again until I go to the doctor next week. I really hate stepping on the scale…
Gender? After 4 ultrasounds it’s still a boy. The tech pointed out the bits, but I couldn’t really make it out.
Symptoms: I’m tired, so damn tired.
Sleep? The worst. I have a hard time getting comfortable and falling asleep. Then I wake up about once an hour. Add on top of that having to pee or getting hungry at stupid hours, sleep just isn’t happening. I really wish I could take several naps a day but work kind of gets in the way of that. Thank god I’m almost done!
Food Cravings: Pizza and chocolate. I don’t really see these cravings as unusual though.
Movement: As I said already, I’m pretty sure he’s going to be a UFC fighter or a boxer the way he punches and kicks.
Belly Button: I’m pretty sure it’s just a full on outie now.
What I’m looking forward too: Being done work soon.
