I’ve wanted to try a cleanse for awhile not but didn’t really know the best way to go about it. Once I started using Young Living products, I found they had a 5 day cleanse and looked into trying it. This cleanse is designed to absorb and remove toxins and excess fat from the digestive tract. While I try and maintain a clean and healthy diet, the excess junk in food these days is negatively impacting our bodies and it’s important to keep bodies in good shape!
The main components of the Young Living 5 Day Nutritive Cleanse include Balance Complete shakes, 2 ounces of NingXia Red juice and a Digest + Cleanse supplement three times a day. There are also various snacks you can add in if you have a high metabolism or experience excessive hunger, but it is most effective without the snacks. I will be eating the snacks because I don’t think I can survive with only three shakes a day for 5 days.
I will let you know how the progress goes, what I’m eating and how I’m feeling during the next five days. Hopefully I can make it through this without dying! Breakfast – 1 Digest + Cleanse, 1 Balance Complete shake, 2 oz NingXia Red
Snack – 1 apple
Lunch – 1 Digest + Cleanse, 1 Balance Complete shake, 2 oz NingXia Red
Snack – 1 cup raw broccoli, caffeine free herbal tea
Dinner – 1 Digest + Cleanse, 1 Balance Complete shake, 2 oz NingXia Red
Snack – 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
The guide says you may experience mild discomfort, headaches, or a craving for certain foods and because of the extra fiber you may have minor gas.
So far I’m just about ready for the afternoon snack. I’m feeling hungry for sure and have a bit of a headache. I’m not very active as I’m off work today to get unpacked, do laundry and reorganized after holidays. Day 1 is half over!
