Ok, I used to do these things in high school and thought they had disappeared. Apparently not. I decided to jump on the blog bandwagon and fill one out to entertain you slightly while I’m away. Enjoy

A: is for Apple, what’s your favourite variety?

Red Delicious

B: is for Bread, regardless of nutrition, calories, or whole grains what is your favourite type to have a nice big piece of?

Any kind, I love bread. Cheese, garlic, sourdough – anything fresh and warm is going to be a win with me.

C: is for Cereal what is your favourite kind currently (just one!)

Gosh, I haven’t had cereal FOREVER and I have a thing for kids cereal, not sure I can pick just one. I’m going to choose Cap’n Crunch. No one said this had to be about HEALTHY food, right?

D: is for Doughnuts, you might not currently be eating them but what kind do you fancy?

I’m not a huge donut person – But if there was a box and I was inclined to eat one I usually go for the jelly filled first, then maybe a traditional chocolate covered or maple.

E: is for Eggs, how would you like yours prepared?

I can’t eat eggs L But, if I could my favorite is devilled. Even though I can’t eat them I still will have one or two devilled eggs and risk the tummy ache.

F: is for Fat Free, what is your favourite fat free product?

I don’t really consume any fat free products at the moment.

G: is for Groceries, where do you purchase your at?

Superstore or Safeway unless my parents are in town and I make them take me to Costco.

H: is for Hot Beverages, what is your favourite hot drink?

COFFEE! I don’t care if it’s just plain black or a fancy schmany latte – I like it all. I’m also a huge fan of tea.

I: is for Ice Cream, pick a favourite flavour and add a fun topping

My favorite kind of ice cream sans toppings is tiger, Nibs, or cake batter. With toppings, birthday cake with gummy bears from Marble Slab.

J: is for Jams or Jellies, do you eat them, and if so what kind and flavour?

Raspberry jam

K: is for Kashi, name your favourite Kashi product?

To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever bought any Kashi products, but last time I was at Costco I tried a really yummy granola bar I think? I can’t really remember.

L: is for Lunch, what was yours today?

My standard chicken, rice and green beans – but of course today is one of those days were I wanted a little something else and binged on peanut butter. Dammit.

M: is for Milk, what kind do you like (flavour, source, etc)?

I don’t like milk.

N: is for Nuts, what kind are your favourite?

Macadamia or candied pecans – however I eat almonds daily.

O: is for Onions, do you eat them

I don’t buy them for myself but I don’t go out of my way to pick them out of something. I’m not really a fan of raw onion.

P: is for Protein, what is your favourite source?

Greek yogurt, peanut butter, cheese (which I don’t get right now, pout), fish, protein shakes, my homemade protein bars. Yummm!

Q: is for Quiche, what 4 ingredients would you like in yours?

Again, I can’t eat eggs so no quiche for me.

R: is for Restaurant, what’s the name of your favourite and what type of cuisine does it serve?

Local – Earl’s
Out of Town – Olive Garden – such good pasta with unlimited salad and breadsticks

S: is for Spices, name 4 that are in your kitchen right now that you have used in the past 5 days

Cinnamon and southwest seasoning are the only two I’ve used recently. I’m boring.

T: is for Trick or Treating, what 5 candies does your bag contain?

Rockets, Nibs, mini chocolate bars, fuzzy peaches, and gummy bears

U: is for Universal, what is your favourite type of cuisine from around the world?

Italian or Japanese but only for the appetizers

V: is for Vitamins, do you take them, and if so, what

I take Young Living Core Essentials, Vitamin C, and 1 ounce Ningxia Juice

W: is for Water, do you drink bottled, spring, tap, sparkling, etc?

Filtered or tap, I’m not really picky about water.

X: is for Xtra special, what food holds a special place in your heart?

I think some of my mom’s dishes, like lasagna, baked mac and cheese….

Y: is for Yogurt, you can only afford 1 cup, what kind do you purchase?

Plain Greek yogurt

Z: is for Zero guilt, what food can you enjoy over and over without any guilt?

Sausage and perogies from the Saturday morning farmer’s market.

I know a lot of folks who don’t eat eggs (they’re allergic, for health reasons, or concerns about animal cruelty). Here’s an awesome site that gives tips on cooking and baking without eggs: http://EggFreeLiving.com
